From Our Founder
I founded Formation Insights in 2024 after developing the Matters Journaling System. I developed this system because I wanted something that could wrap a bullet journaling approach, but with a more specific structure and focus. After eight months of refining and building this system, I am so happy to be sharing this platform with anyone who will listen.
In addition to being a husband and father of two beautiful daughters, I have enjoyed a technology career ranging from mechanical engineering to building software applications, to driving innovations within the blockchain & crypto space. But in all these experiences collectively, one truth has remained that I am deeply passionate about: greatness doesn't just happen; it must be cultivated. This principle drove me to applying my passion for investing in successful individuals and teams to the domain of personal formation.
When we as individuals commit to a refining process of examining key areas of our lives, we become better contributors, friends, spouses, and a more improved physical and emotional version of ourselves, increasing productivity in every facet of life.
Formation Insights exists to help individuals and teams live this life of a maximized potential. My goal is for our coaching, public speaking, and podcast materials to help our clients discover deep and meaningful formation in their lives.
